Te Tinana

This week for Maori we learned about body parts. Waewae means leg.

We highlighted the body parts blue if we know it in Maori and we left it as black if we didn't know the Maori word.

I knew eight words and the rest I didn't know so I went to the Maori dictionary to learn it.

The ones that I know was leg, shoulder, back, teeth, hand, stomach and mouth, in Maori they are  waewae (leg), pokohiwi (shoulder), waha (mouth), ringaringa (hand), niho (teeth), tuaua (back).

I learned a lot of words but I'm going to learn more Maori words.
